Connecting hospitals with SL60

The Christophorus hospital network offers 620 beds and employs about 1500 people. The network also contains a walk-in clinic where hospital doctors and registered doctors operate ambulant on patients.

In order to maintain the datex among the clinics and the registered doctors efficient and safe, a quickly implementable solution with adequate bandwidth was required. The hospital has chosen the license-free 60 GHz-microwave technology “Sencity®Link” from HUBER+SUHNER.

“For the Christophorus clinics we suggested the implementation of SENCITY Link SL60 from HUBER+SUHNER. The design of the system is compact and reliable, at the same time it can be installed easily and quick”, says graduate engineer Dieter Faltmann. He has supplied the clinics with services in the IT and WAN segment for years.

Fast and easy

Despite the local hospital network another connection to St.Vincenz hospital was required. In this case the decision fell on the model SL60-501. “We are very pleased with the HUBER+SUHNER solutions. The system works reliable with a high bandwidth. It feels good to know that for further need the SL60 solution is quickly available”, said Thomas Stallmeyer, the clinics’ division manager.
